Yes. Children are welcome on board, and we’ll even take extra time to help them get acclimated to being on the water and around a boat. It is your discretion as to whether you think a child is suitable for the environment, but as a dad himself, the Captain places extra emphasis on making his trips family-friendly and family-centered.

Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of Captain cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone at 252-341-3320 to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
SeaRiously is dedicated to offering you the best water taxi experience possible. If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe or not conducive to offering a good crossing of the river, the Captain will cancel the trip. If the crossing conditions are neither unsafe or uncrossable but could potentially cause problems for the party, the Captain will thoroughly explain the circumstances and leave it up to the party to decide if they would feel comfortable in the conditions.
If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, you will be given an opportunity to reschedule the trip for an available date or you will be given a 100% refund.
Well worth the cost compared to the ferry. Honestly, cheaper for our family in retrospect. And no lines! Just hop on and go. There in no time!
We thought we’d just be using Capt. Bill for the ferry, but we ended up using him for a sunset cruise and a fishing trip for my son. 100% recommend!
We took a slow cruise because of the wind. Saw several dolphin and a sea turtle. Bonus! Captain was waiting for us at the dock. Can’t beat that!
